Deciduous Therapeutics is an early stage, venture-backed biotech company based in San Francisco, California developing novel therapies that activate the endogenous immune biology responsible for treating age-related diseases.
We are looking for a highly ambitious and talented Research Associate to join our team. Key Responsibilities and Job Functions
- Perform in vivo studies: animal handling, compound administration, tissue harvest and processing
- Assist with the design, development, and execution of rodent disease models across a range of different indications; execute the down-stream assays to analyze disease progression
- Keep current and detailed records in an electronic laboratory notebook
- Present study results at weekly research group meetings
- Collaborate closely with team members to ensure all projects are executed efficiently
- Purchase reagents, maintain supplies and inventory
Qualifications and Skills
- Minimum of a B.S. in Biology or a related field
- 2+ years of laboratory experience in an industry or academic setting
- Experience with in vivo murine experiments is highly preferred
- Strong organizational skills are required; a fast learner with a demonstrated track record of perseverance is key
- The ideal candidate is entrepreneurial, energetic, able to adapt to and shape a dynamic environment, and eligible to work in the United States
